Simple Truth

haha. Jesus was persistent, He was serious when He said He loves you. That's why He went to the cross. (:

Champions

haha. The desire to blog on this post was birth from talking to a secondary school friend.

He was talking about soccer and he's an Arsenal fan. Then he told me that Arsenal is in the 4th place this season, because previously I mentioned Man-U (this is the only club I know and could get the spelling right. haha! anyways, this is not the point. haha.).

He sighed when mentioning that Arsenal's 4th so I told him not to be sad. haha. Then he said something that struck me. He said, "nah. i'm not sad. juz cannot feel the excitement for arsenal being the champ"

Then I thought about how people would be excited when their favourite club gets the championship and how much more would we be excited and happy when we know we are ALREADY champions in Christ. Hey! We are champions. We as children of God are Champions and we can reign in this life!

haha. Praise Jesus for the message pastor preached today/yesterday. hehe. Wanna thank God for Pastor Prince's ministry and his heart for Jesus. ((:

Pastor preached on Romans 5:17, For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

Seeing it in Amplified is beautiful...

Romans 5:17 (AMP)
For if because of one man's trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Maybe you would ask, "How to reign? I don't feel like I'm conquering; I'm sick, I'm poor." The answer is in the verse itself -

much more surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

It's for Christians (those who believe in Christ and His finished work) because it is through the one Man Jesus Christ. We can only come to the Father through Jesus.

Wow. Surely this verse is very rich!! Oh my. Please munch on the verse. Emphasis has been added. haha.

It's so coooool! haha. It says SURELY will those who RECEIVE abundance of UNdeserved, UNmerited favor and the FREE Gift of Righteousness (noun) reign as kings through Jesus!
It's not maybe but it is SURELY when you receive and continually receive His abundance of Grace and the Gift of Righteousness (especially when you fall/sin) you would reign in life. You would reign over poverty, over sickness, over your bad habits. YOU WOULD REIGN.

All these circumstances would have no hold on you but you would be free to be a blessing to those around you because YOU have been blessed by God.

God rejoices over you to do you good
Jeremiah 32:41 (NKJV)
'Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good ... with all My heart and with all My soul.'

He wanna bless you beyond your wildest dreams
1 Corinthians 2:9(NKJV)
But as it is written:
" Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

Jeremiah 33:8-9, 16 (NKJV)
8 I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me. 9 Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.'

16 In those days Judah will be saved,
And Jerusalem will dwell safely.
And this is the name by which she will be called:
THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.'

Now we can worship our Righteousness, no, not our works or deeds but Jesus is our Righteousness. By Him, we are put into right standing with DaddyGod.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Wow. Margy makes room for the grace of God. Hope this post has blessed you because it surely did for me. haha. I'm just so excited at the thought of us being able to reign in life just by receiving the two precious gifts - abundance of undeserved favor and the GIFT of Righteousness, again and again. ((:

Down at Your feet

No Higher Calling
Down at Your feet Oh Lord
Is the most high place
In Your presence Lord
We (I) seek Your face
We (I) seek Your face

There is no higher calling
No greater honor
Than to bow and kneel before Your throne
I'm amazed at Your glory
Embraced by Your mercy
O Lord, I live to worship You

haha. Not sure if I got the lyrics right but yeap. haha. Got this from one of the p&w song sheet I kept. hehe. Love this song. It is very beautiful. haha.

The first few times when I sang/heard this song, I couldn't understand why "Down at Your feet Oh Lord is the most high place". It just doesn't make sense because I thought we are sitting on the throne with God? Why must be at Jesus' feet? So funny. haha.

Then I thought, "Oh ya. It's like a place of humility, that's why at Jesus' feet is the most high place because God gives grace to the humble mah." haha. Now I know this is only part of the answer. haha.

Then by God's grace, the daily devotional of NCC on 14 March 07 answered my "question". haha.

An excerpt from the devotion:

Beloved, Boaz is a picture of Jesus who is our kinsman-redeemer. He is our kinsman, having been born into this world as one like us. And He is our Redeemer because He redeemed us at a great price when He shed His blood for us on the cross... ...

Just as Ruth lay at Boaz’s feet, the feet of Jesus is the place of redemption and blessings. Both Jairus, the synagogue ruler (Mark 5:22), and the Syro-Phoenician woman (Mark 7:25–26), fell at Jesus’ feet. And there at His feet, they received healing for their sick daughters.

When you take your place at Jesus’ feet, looking to Him for help, expect to receive His blessings. There is nothing to fear knowing that as Boaz did for Ruth, Jesus, your heavenly kinsman-redeemer, will do for you all that you have requested!

Oh my. The whole thing is so good leh. When I read it again, I feel like copying the whole thing. haha. Anyway, if you want the whole thingy just leave a message or what yea. Can email it to you. ((((:

haha. Ya loh. When we come to Jesus' presence and take our place at His feet, we're coming under the shadow of His wings. We are coming under His protection, His redeeming power. Like how Ruth told Boaz when she lay at his feet, "...Take your maidservant under your wing, for you are a close relative."

Today Jesus is not only our Big Brother on the throne, He is also our Husband (Isaiah 54:5). It's no more His and Her savings account. It is now Our savings account. You are no more spending from your own savings but you are spending from you and Jesus' joint account. Can He ever run out of money, resources, blessings? NO! So come to Him when you are facing a trouble and expect Him to redeem and to bless because He is mighty to save. Because He is faithful to His finished work. He cannot deny Himself and what He did to redeem and bring you near. (((:

Don't let the grace of God be in vain. Don't let Christ die in vain. Use Him and His service. It takes humility to expect Jesus to serve us and wash our feet (to do things for us).

Selah

Margy, very humbled and loved.

Munching (part 1)

heh heh. It's talking time!! haha. I'm very happy today and I can't stop rambling on when I talk to DadGod so decided to share it here. Anyway, it has also been some time since I last shared. hehe.

Wanna thank God for Jesus and His finished work.
Wanna thank DadGod for divine appointment (not sure if that's the right word to use but simply Qarah). :)
Wanna thank DadGod for Holy Spirit. haha. Because it's fun having the Holy Spirit with me. Was reading John 16 today and suddenly I just feel so blessed to have the Holy Spirit with me.

hur hur. Thank DadGod that the work of Jesus had brought me into communion with Him and even Jesus Himself found strength in the presence and the communion with DadGod.

John 16:32 (NKJV)
Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

haha. I love the article that was shared in the solidrock march 2007 magazine, The Passion Of The Christ - Why?.

I feel Daddy is like really increasing my capacity to receive from Him and seeing Him as a Big God who really wanna give. haha. Before I go into that, I wanna share a part of the article that caught me - That dying thief refreshed Jesus' heart when he put himself under the fountain of His blood.

It is so beautiful. To me it is simply so beautiful. When I read this, I just saw myself under this fountain that just keeps flowing and flowing with the ever cleansing power of His blood. That if I ever sin, immediately this blood would wash over me and tell me, "Don't worry. This sin has been paid for by the blood of Jesus. You don't have to be condemned because another has been condemned for you."

haha. I don't know about you but I'm truly grateful that I can enjoy the goodness and blessings of God everyday, even when I blow it or when I sin. No, not because DadGod swept all the sins under the carpet and just acted like nothing happened but because of the finished work of Christ.

Proverbs 16:6 (NKJV)
In mercy and truth atonement is provided for iniquity;
And by the fear of the LORD one departs from evil.

Isaiah 25:1 (NKJV)
O LORD, You are my God.
I will exalt You,
I will praise Your name,
For You have done wonderful things;
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

haha. Verses to munch on. (:

I love it that we are brought back to remember that our conviction is based on the Word of God that changes not. That we do not go by experiences but really by what the Word of God says. Doesn't that make you wanna search out all the bible promises and what the bible says? It sure does for me. (:

Law and Grace

Hehe. I got this on my bus ride home on Friday, after cg supper. Was contemplating whether to share but decided to after some confirmation of it being shared in things I read these few days. haha.

Let Daddy hold my hands and get this typed out for Jesus' glory. (((:

Personally I was thinking on the topic of sin and undeserved favor. haha. We know the verse in Romans 5:20,

Romans 5:20 (AMP)
But then Law came in, [only] to expand and increase the trespass [making it more apparent and exciting opposition]. But where sin increased and abounded, grace (God's unmerited favor) has surpassed it and increased the more and superabounded,

haha. Then the question I post to God is something like,

"I know that where people had done something that seemed so wrong (in the eyes of men), when they are touched with Your undeserved favor [Jesus], they received Him so readily and they are so super transformed and just run with You.

But what about people who started out good/well (in the eyes of men) with You? Would they comprehend and experience the greatness of Your Grace, undeserved favor and no condemnation? And surely You didn't mean sin more to experience much more grace ah."

Then in a spilt second I saw the contrast between the two. The ones in the first category saw the seriousness of their sin (in men's perspective). They had literally came to an end of themselves, knowing they need someone Bigger to really help them get out. ((:

Then came some stuff that I wanna share about. hehe.

If you had really considered Jesus' Word true, if you had read verses and really considered the standard of God, like the one in,

Matthew 5:21-22, 27-28 (NKJV)
21 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder,[a] and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.' 22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause[b] shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire.

27 "You have heard that it was said to those of old,[a] 'You shall not commit adultery.'[b] 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

James 2:10-11 (NKJV)
10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For He who said, "Do not commit adultery,"[a] also said, "Do not murder."[b]Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

WOW! I'm amazed at Daddy! haha. I didn't know the two examples used in James would be adultery and murder! And the verses in Matthew was what Dad pointed out to me when I was flipping through the bible to quote some examples! YIPPIE! It's cool to walk with Him. ((((:

Galatians 3:19, 24-25 (NKJV)
19
What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.

24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

No wonder in Revelation 3:15 Jesus said "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold (fully by tablets of stones; Law) or hot (fully by the grace of God)" Brackets added by me.
Because even the Law brings an end to yourself, pointing to Jesus.

you would see and know for yourself that it is a level unattainable by your mere existence. The Law was meant to bring an end to your-self.

haha. Personally I knew God before I came to church. It's amazing how I knew Him but I also understood from the days where I've not attended church (NCC was my first church :)) that a church with excellent teaching that unveils Jesus and His finished work is so IMPORTANT.

haha. Because I still remember the days where I would read the bible, starting from Matthew but I have never read past Matthew because of verses like the ones I quoted above. haha.

Back then I sincerely wanted to follow God but verses like those just stumbled me. And every time when I read those verses, I would close the bible and get back to my sinful lifestyle.

How very grateful am I for the message of grace; the message that unveils Jesus and and HIS finished work, telling me that despite and inspite of all I am still the righteousness of God in Christ because of HIS finished work.

The costly Love that was freely give. Surely I am gloriously redeemed! Bought with a Price and I belong to Him. ((:

----------------------------------------------------

So if the standard that God has is unattainable, His Law is unable ot be fulfilled by ourselves, how can we in a righteous state walk with Him? haha.

Verses time! Quite a few this time. (((: These verses might hurt your flesh a bit (or maybe a lot) but, bear with it yea. It's good! haha. Because it's from the Bible and it glorifies my Hubby Jesus~ (:

Romans 3:19-24, 27-28 (NKJV)
19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all[a] who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

Galatians 2:16 (NKJV)
16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

Galatians 3:10-11 (AMP)
10
And all who depend on the Law [who are seeking to be justified by obedience to the Law of rituals] are under a curse and doomed to disappointment and destruction, for it is written in the Scriptures, Cursed (accursed, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment) be everyone who does not continue to abide (live and remain) by all the precepts and commands written in the Book of the Law and to practice them.(A)

11 Now it is evident that no person is justified (declared righteous and brought into right standing with God) through the Law, for the Scripture says, The man in right standing with God [the just, the righteous] shall live by and out of faith and he who through and by faith is declared righteous and in right standing with God shall live.(B)

Sad. Very sad. You can do all you want and TRY to get right with God by your deeds but you can NEVER be. Because Righteousness is a Person. Righteousness is Jesus and you are IN Him [Righteous Jesus], if You are a child of God.

1 Corinthians 1:30-31 (NKJV)
30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the LORD."[a]

Jesus didn't hang there 6 hours on the cross and cursed (for it is written, "cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree) for nothing. He didn't get scourged and humiliated and shamed so that YOU can work your way through to the throne of God. By the way, God is sitting on the throne of UNdeserved favor [grace]. You can't deserve your way there. Let not the Grace of God be in vain. ((:

Romans 5:17 (NKJV)
17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

haha. So yeap. Lets just come to an end of ourselves and freely receive the GIFT of Righteousness. It takes humility to receive this gift and Daddy says He gives Grace to the HUMBLE (see 1 Peter 5:6-7)~ haha.

Okay. Gotta go buy food for terrapins already. Feel like haven't really share finish but yeap. Shall stop here for now. ((:

Shalom~

(((((:

((((((: Margy again says YES to Your Love and Your care. NO to forms and rituals.
You are who I need. It's no more even a "what" but it's a "who".
And YOUR hands fit well with mine. (((: We belong together. (((:

Only You satisfy. Only You would love when all seems dull. Only You hold on when no one cared. hehe. Because YOU are the One who loved and came and is risen forevermore. ((((:

My experiences in life might not be unique to myself but I truly believe I AM gloriously saved and redeemed.

Margy don't believe in coincidence and so do Daddy! haha. The first post that caught my eyes talked about spending time with God. The first devotion I read just now was talking about having communion with God. The second devotion I read talks about walking with God. haha. Is that coincidence? I don't believe it is because I have a GOD who LOVES me. (((:

Daddy, margy needs You and my Soul knows very well. Because only Jesus satisfies. When the lights are off, You still shine because You are the LIGHT of the world. When all seems boring and dull, You are still excited because You are fun & joy personified.

Jesus, let Your presence overwhelm me. Let Your love songs be my daily bread. haha. Not sure what to put. hehe.

Jesus, Your romance makes my heart beat faster. Your love secures me. You told me I don't have to feel insecure because I am in-the-Secured. (((: Jesus, You are my Lover, You are my Husband; our Spirit are One.

My natural eyes might not see You but We are One in Daddy's eyes. We are Husband and wife. We are Shepherd and sheep. You are Driver, I am passenger. You are Love, I am the loved. (((((:

Only YOU can truly put a smile on my face, and my heart. (((((: Only YOUR presence can satisfy.

Daddy, let it accelerate~~~ hehe.

Loves,
MuchLoved of Jesus. ((((:
